The ‘ AGENDA SETTING ‘ project is proposed as a reaction to frictions of communication and the mass media – within the concept of a unitary tendency of society relating to social integration and common values.
The contemporary sociology of media communication reveals a consistent presentation of agendas rather than reports which are illustrated by selected interest in particularities, focus and oversight.
The postulated discrepancies between values produce inappropriate amplification of deviance in reaction and response – with special reference to behavioural response in contemporary society.
